My Cornish version of your Crossover, Cathy
I saw this on one of our costal path walks and thought of you as the pic you posted a while back was so similar.
I hope you are all enjoying your Crossover journey.

Creativity lecture by John Cleese.
Mary mentioned the Cleese lecture ( we watched the you tube video of it, when we used the art room at Hannah's school way back!). Thanks Mary, for getting me to find it again and refreshing my memory. It is very useful to have a watch and I have put a link for the transcript below, worth read.

Me Again!
Given that video we saw about John Cleese at Hanna's school and the importance of feeling safe and valued for creativity, I have been aware of that this week. It has felt fine to make what image is in my mind with confidence rather than think to myself that whatever it is, isn't good enough!
I believe that our last meeting helped to value our group and what we can produce together.

Couldn't resist sending something!
It was suggested that we all do our squares then only see them at the end, ie when we meet up again.

Enjoyable and productive evening 28th February
I thought I would put my thought in the blog as well as having put them in an email.
We made such a good start last night with sharing our creativity.
If we are going for different sized squares, all we need to agree on is narrowing down and agreeing on a specific theme for Crossover. I think we do need to do that as it's such a flexible theme anyway and given the fact that our work will be very different ( and rightly so!) I think we need to follow Jane's suggestion and have a specific theme to work on.

Cooking onion soup this afternoon
I love the colours of the onions and the shapes inside.
Can't give you the recipe as it's sort of made up but it's easy to find.

I have been thinking about the various forms of textile making so this is why I have included felting and also knitting with the fine white wool which came from the textile studio all those years ago.
I decided to knit a few lines then put it onto metal thread and make the round shape.
The strip of red felt should be at the bottom with the print at the top but can't edit it sufficiently to turn it round. This process is novel and enjoyable.
I will also the 3 pics I took at Sue's when we met there.
